Field Visits in Nara City

Research field visit to find out about ESD Design Activities in Technology Education in Nara City, 22-25 August 2022.
As part of the exploration and research on design-based Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) learning activities in Technology Education, our lab has visited 3 junior high schools in Nara City. We managed to have a good discussion with teachers to find out about ESD activities in their own curriculum during the study seminar. We also managed to visit their workshops.
We appreciate the help by Associate Professor SERA Keita from Nara University of Education to coordinate and arrange our visits and the implementation of the study seminar. We hope that this visit will open up opportunities to collaborate with Prof. SERA and the teachers in Nara City.
